PROM 2018!

I have been waiting to publish this post for so long as I've been so excited for this!!!

My prom was held at a local manor house which was so pretty and was such a lovely atmosphere for the prom, we had a DJ come in and do the music all night and my school had decorated the manor house as if it wasn't gorgeous enough!

I got together with my best friends before the prom and actually did two of my friends hair whilst we enjoyed pre drinks and getting ready together. We also hired out a limo as a little extra treat for us as it was nice to all turn up to the prom together. The limo was such a good idea as it made us all feel really special and just got us more excited for the evening ahead. 

My dress was from Lipsy and I am honestly so in love with it, I am desperately looking for an excuse to wear it again as it is just gorgeous and I think it is quite timeless in that blue colour with the side split. My shoes are Nine West and for a pair of heels they are incredibly comfy and I am so wearing these again as they are just beautiful and very extra. My bag is from accessorize and it matches the heels really well. My hair was done by Ashleigh's Freelance hair and it looked so nice. I actually decided to do my own make up and I'm pretty pleased how it turned out.

   

Top 5 Happy Places in the World

I decided I just wanted to appreciate ad recognise my favorite places in the world and why they are so memorable and special to me, I though it was something nice to share with you and a way to let you get to know me more.

5. Kent

So my home county how could this not be one of my happy places. I love Kent it has so much countryside and has so many places which mean so much to me. I have grown up here and lived my whole life here. I get to see its beauty everyday!

4. Liverpool
Now I am very biased being a Liverpool football fan but I love the atmosphere in Liverpool and it is the home to one of my favourite hotels in the world. The hotel itself isn't anything fancy but it has a gym, pool and the loveliest buffet and it makes me feel very homely and comfortable which is the nicest feeling away form home. 

3.Central London

Now this one is a bit more complicated than just central London I love oxford street, Hyde park, Mayfair and that part of London near and around the Victoria station area. This is closer to home but still further away that I don't get to visit too often. Oxford street is every shopaholics dream and I find Hyde park such a lovely place like a breath of fresh air against the mad city life. This picture does not capture any of London that I wanted to share but I lost my memory card with all my London photos on.

2. Hilton Hotel Resort and Spa Jamaica

This place holds so many memories which I live for! I have been here twice and the first time was amazing I just had to go back, the second time was even better. I have no negatives about this resort even the people you speak to a so nice and give you the best vibes. One of my happy places in life.

1. Chicago, Illinois, United states

This is probably my most favorite pace in the world and somewhere I could see myself living in the future. I've only been here once in my life but I loved every second of it. I visited Chicago in the last week of December 2016 and stayed for new years eve which was just magical in the big city! I am 100% sure I will be returning as I loved it so very much the magnificent mile was the best shopping destination I have even been to. Lincoln Park zoo was nothing like the zoos you get at home and the food oh the food! Not to mention a Starbucks at every ten paces!

My goals for 2018

Goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018. Now as nearly everyone else on the planet right now we are all reflecting on the year and thinking forward to what we want to achieve in 2018, I have given this some deep thought and decided it would be good to share with you what I am aiming for and want to complete in 2018! Edited note: sorry this is going up so late.

1. My GCSEs 

So obviously this year I am sitting lots of GCSE exams as I'm in year 11. I want to do well and from now until them exams in the summer I aim to work super hard so I can achieve the best grades possible and do well so I get the grades I want and need.

2. Blog more

I know this one is going to be difficult to do around my GCSEs and my main focus should be my exams but I am going to attempt to get at least a post up every month and from July and on you should be seeing a lot more from me as that's my chance to chill out so watch this space!

3. Running

As you may know I am very into running anyway but I want to set myself a clear goal. I aim to be able to run a comfortable seven miles by next December this way I know I have to keep running and not get lazy even during my exams and anything else that might busy me in the coming year. Its so important to exercise its keeps me so healthy in my mind and body.

4. To learn how to drive
So I am turning 17 this year and I want to start learning how to drive in September I don't expect to pass this year as I want to be realistic but I want to start learning how to drive straight away and take my theory at the first opportunity.

Pumpkin Picking 2017

This post is expected every year as one of my favorite things you get to do in autumn is go Pumpkin picking so this year like last year and the year before I went to Beluncle farm in Hoo, Rochester. I went with a massive group of family friends this year and had such a lovely time and enjoyed a lovely pub lunch and drink afterwards. Can we also appreciate the mickey mouse back pack....thank you xx

Pumpkin picking from a field is so much better than rummaging through in Asda or another supermarket and you are supporting your local farmers. I feel like these Pumpkins are priced better as well as you get to the pay stand and there are just people pricing up your wheel barrows and they often will say oh just £1.00 for a large pumpkin which you often pay £3.00-£4.00 for in a regular supermarket. And on top of that its just a lovely day out, so I would defiantly suggest having a day out in October pumpkin picking and you can make a real day of it going out for dinner after like we did or going somewhere local for drinks.

This is Dominican Republic 2017

This year I went to Dominican republic for a family holiday, I stayed at Now Larimar in Punta Cana. I have stayed in Punta Cana before so I knew where I was going however it isn't the sort of place where you go walking around as we were informed it wasn't safe unless you were in specific places with your holiday rep. The hotel itself was lovely and doing the upgrade to use all the preferred facilities is defiantly worth it as it gives you access to more pools, different bar and the lounges which offer more food and drink. Best of all it gives you access to the restaurant called cast a way which serves a buffet breakfast and lunch which was lovely.

I had such a lovely two weeks in paradise and got to have some lovely family time and we were able to join in with all the activities they offered like canoeing and beach parties and dace lessons just to name a few. I included some pictures of the trip so you could see my amazing trip.

 

Liverpool Legends Charity Match

This weekend I went to Liverpool (believe me, that is a trip in itself without even walking the streets of Liverpool) and I went there to see the Liverpool legends football charity match. All proceeds go to the Liverpool foundations who help children with any sort of trouble in their life all over the UK and internationally with football and sport. They help children with disability play sport and allow them to feel like every other child in the world. The charity also teamed up with Kit Aid which takes people football kits which are in a good condition but no longer want and they are distributed out to children in countries where they aren't as privileged so they have nice clothes to wear and play sports in. 

I had much interest in the charity game not only because of the good cause but as well because my favourite player of all time was playing, Steven Gerrard. It was a lovely day and Liverpool legends ended up winning 4-3 with Robbie Fowler scoring a penalty and Steven Gerrard, John Aldridge and Micheal Owen all scoring for Liverpool. You could see which players had more recently retired form the game with players such as Daniel Agger and Jamie Carragher being much more fluent and on form however even players such as Steve Mcmanaman put in an effort and had a really good run out, Ian Rush still showing qualities in the game he had in his prime. Overall it was a game of friendly competition and enjoyed by all that attended.

This is an event I will be looking out for in the future if it was ever to happen again then I will defiantly be attending.

Pumpkin Picking 2016

Last year I went to a local pick your own pumpkins and it was so much fun that this year myself and my family decided to go again with our really good family friends. We went to the pick your own pumpkins at beluncle farm in Kent. They are really reasonably priced and there are lots to choose from.

All of those pumpkins in the wheelbarrow cost £17.00. I think they were so inexpensive as some of the pumpkins were huge much bigger than what you get in the super market and they all were much cheaper and obviously fresher as we got them out of the field. 

Good Morning Jamaica!

I have just recently come back from my holiday to Jamaica and I had the most amazing time ever! For the two weeks myself and my family were there most days we spent around the pool and on the beach, drinking cocktails or in my case, mock-tails all day long and I couldn't of been happier. I stayed at the Hilton rose hall resort and Spa which is in Montego Bay. I flew with Thomson airlines and they do a transfer from the airport to the hotel which stops at three hotels, this transfer stops at the holiday inn and the Riu before the Hilton but even with the stops the journey only takes 15 minuets which isn't long at all. At the hotel there is two pools; the main pool gets deeper as you go further in and is where a lot of the entertainment is and the other pool is a water park, this is where is spent most of time I was there.

  

As a trip out away from the hotel myself and my family went to Ricks Cafe. Ricks cafe is a restaurant where you can have a three course meal watch the sun go down at the top of a cliff and then you can dive of the cliffs from five different heights depending on how comfortable with the height from the water you are. I didn't jump as we were short for time with the time our taxi driver was picking us up but we watched people jump off and go up the cliffs. The sunset was absolutely beautiful and something you don't get to see in England.
